How to keep your fees lower
We are always happy to talk to our clients on the phone, and many times it is absolutely necessary. However, we have found that most of our phone conversations are longer (and therefore more expensive) than covering the same question or information by a letter or email.
Our firm encourages the use of email for several reasons. In addition to saving you money, even compared to regular mail and especially compared to phone calls, you eliminate “phone tag.” Also, both you and our firm can refer back to the exchange of letters when we need to, which is very helpful. Of course, if you send us email, you have to check your email regularly, because we assume that any client using email will check it daily . We suggest that you print out the more detailed and significant letters, so that you can refer to them anytime.
